Andrew Taylor MRICS 

Managing Director 
Andrew has excelled in Quantity Surveying from the onset of his BSc Hons degree at Northumbria University, where he achieved the following: BSc (Hons) 1st Class Honours Degree, Turner & Townsend best overall national award in Quantity Surveying, Building magazine award for academic achievement. From there onwards Andrew has worked for several national companies in Yorkshire, London and 4 years in Melbourne Australia. Andrew has an in depth knowledge of construction contracts and laws surrounding them with first hand experience settling major disputes and commercial resolutions. Andrew became a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 2014, which has allowed him to keep up to date with current market trends, technologies and contract laws. He is a very approachable person with a vast knowledge of construction and it's processes to ensure clients receive an RICS standard of Quantity Surveying. 

Mike Leake 

Senior Quantity Surveyor 
BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying. Mike has a very methodical approach and a keen eye for detail. 40 years PQS and main contractor experience. In depth knowledge of all aspects of Quantity Surveying. Mike brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the practice. 

Lucy Portman 

Senior Quantity Surveyor 
Lucy has 15 years experience in Quantity Surveying, progressing to Senior level. She has varied experience on projects including new build, civils, heritage and refurbishment, under both JCT and NEC forms of contract. Lucy enjoys working with the site and client teams, collaborating to get the best results for all parties. She has a strong background in reporting, valuation, estimating and procurement. Lucy is currently doing her APC to become an Associate member of RICS. 

Mark Nicholson 

Construction Manager 
30 years experience time served carpenter. Mark has a can do attitude in all situations. Specialisation in refurbishments and new builds. First aid SMSTS qualified. Mark has a keen eye for detail and finishing. 

Jo Marsden 

QS Office Administrator 
Jo brings extensive experience to the administrative side of the practice with a strong background in purchase ledger, accounting and office management . Her work includes invoice reconciliation, material ordering, managing sub-contractor enquiries, and overseeing the practice's social media presence.
