From project inception to project completion ATQS are able to provide commercial support to assist in the delivery of your project. Initially our objective would be to provide a high level development cost plan, inclusive of all expected costs for your development. If the budget is not meeting expectations our experienced Quantity Surveying team can work with the design team to provide value engineering and look at material substitution to bring the budget to a feasible figure. Once ready to move the construction phase we would provide a detailed cost plan breaking down each element, into house types if applicable, supported by local suppliers to ensure costs are accurate and current.
We can also provide a taylor made option to help you deliver the project, whether it is commercial support in managing procurement and contracts or full delivery of the project including project and site management we have a solution to meet your needs. Our commercial team are there to provide commercial support in procurement, contracts, payments, variations, disputes, monthly cost reports and final accounts to ensure value is achieved. Whilst our delivery team can provide programmes, management of subcontractors, site management and health and safety, ensuring your scheme is delivered with integrity and importantly on-time.
We have a good working relationship with local architects in the area and regularly assist in providing cost estimates and bills of quantities for a range of projects in all sectors. Early involvement of ATQS is essential in ensuring the project is viewed with a keen pair of commercial eyes to reduce risk and assist in providing best value for clients. We regularly maintain involvement throughout projects assisting the architect with providing a thorough tender pack, assessing tenders and putting together a contract, which we can then take the role as contract administrator. This enables the design team to concentrate on design development whilst we administer the contract keeping a tight control on payment assessments and variation assessment.
We are able to offer main contractors pre contract services through the provision of bills of quantities, cost estimates and contract review to ensure that the correct commercial decisions are made when entering contracts. Once a contract is established we are able to offer construction phase services by assistance in subcontract tendering and appointment, material take offs, payment assessments and variation management. We are also able to assist with monthly cost reports, cashflow forecast, risk management and dispute resolution.
We work with numerous subcontractors in various trades to assist in tenders, measurement, estimating and contract review in the early stages of a project. During the construction phase we are able to assist with putting together payment applications, price variations and assist with any delay claims experienced on-site. We can also offer final account negotiation and settlement and assist with dispute resolution before contract provisions are escalated.
